Helping more people pick up a racket at the allplay Tennis Park
As part of our commitment to help more children get their hands on a racket, we were pleased to support the LTA’s allplay tennis park
Over 10,000 people attended the event, which took place from 4 to 8 July in Clapham Common, London. The event was free and everyone was welcome to come along, pick up a racket and try the sport - regardless of age or ability.
There were five zones, each offering a variety of tennis related activities. In the AEGON Arena, players were given an opportunity to learn the basics or improve their skills from LTA approved coaches.
The little ones were kept entertained with an introduction to the LTA’s Mini Tennis programme along with fun and games with professional party entertainers.
Fans didn't miss any of the action from The Championships, Wimbledon, with all the action screened live on a big screen, creating a great atmosphere.
