Supporting elite players through Team AEGON

Team AEGON are the top British players selected by the LTA to receive the highest level of support. This level of support allows them to focus on developing their game and taking their tennis career to the next level.

Most of the top-seeded British players are part of Team AEGON, including Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong, Laura Robson, Mel South, James Ward, Ross Hutchins and doubles duo ‘Flemski’ (Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski). Many have represented Britain in the AEGON GB Davis Cup and GB Fed Cup teams and regularly compete in the top events.

Top level support

We support the Team AEGON programme, which helps to provide players with funding for coaching and travel, plus dedicated support from the LTA's team of specialists. This includes top level fitness coaches, nutritionists, physiotherapists, psychologists and medics. They also benefit from full training support at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton or one of the AEGON High Performance programme centres

There are currently over 40 Team AEGON members, aged 13 to 27. Players are selected each year based on their ranking and talent assessment against their individual targets. Find out who's in Team AEGON
