2013 Team Aegon

Team Aegon is the group of performance players who receive the highest level of support from the LTA. In December 2012, the LTA announced which players would make up the team for the next 12 months.

The Team Aegon programme provides the top British players with full training support, either at the National Tennis Centre or, if they prefer, a high performance venue either nationally or internationally.KYLE EDMUND 161x161

They also receive funding for travel and top-level sport science support, including medical, physical, psychological and nutritional assistance as well as regular evaluation of their progress.

21 players have been offered Team Aegon contracts for 2013, including Laura Robson, Heather Watson (pictured below), Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong and doubles specialists Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins (both pictured below).

Promising juniors Oliver Golding, winner of the 2011 Junior US Open and Aegon GB Pro-Series in Bournemouth and Newcastle, along with 2011 Junior Davis Cup winners Kyle Edmund (pictured left), Luke Bambridge and Evan Hoyt are also part of the team.
