Team AEGON is the group of performance players who receive the highest level of support from the LTA. In December 2011, the LTA announced which players would make up the team for the next 12 months.

The Team AEGON programme provides the top British players with full training support, either at the National Tennis Centre or, if they prefer, a high performance venue either nationally or internationally.
They also receive funding for travel and top-level sport science support, including medical, physical, psychological and nutritional assistance as well as regular evaluation of their progress.
23 players have been offered Team AEGON contracts for 2012, including British number one Elena Baltacha (right), Laura Robson, Heather Watson, James Ward, Ross Hutchins, Colin Fleming and Anne Keothavong.
Promising juniors Oliver Golding (left), winner of the 2011 Junior US Open, Luke Bambridge, Evan Hoyt and Kyle Edmund are also part of the team.
Members of Team AEGON and the AEGON FutureStars programme are evaluated every year to make sure their development and performance are on track.
