Supporting elite players through Team Aegon
Team Aegon are the top British players selected by the LTA to receive the highest level of support. This support allows them to focus on developing their game and taking their tennis career to the next level.
Most of the top-ranked British players are part of Team Aegon, including Elena Baltacha, Heather Watson, Laura Robson, Anne Keothavong, James Ward, Ross Hutchins and Colin Fleming. Many have represented Britain in the Aegon GB Davis Cup and GB Fed Cup Teams and regularly compete in ATP and WTA tour events. Team Aegon also includes some younger players who demonstrate great potential.
Top level support
We support the Team Aegon programme, which helps to provide players with funding for coaching and travel plus dedicated support from the LTA's team of specialists. This includes fitness coaches, nutritionists, physiotherapists, psychologists and medics. Players also benefit from full training support at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, one of the Aegon High Performance programme centres nationwide or their chosen venue abroad.
