Team AEGON success at British Junior Nationals
Two players from Team AEGON emerged victorious at the 18 and under event at the AEGON British Junior National Championships, held at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton on 8-14 June.

James Marsalek, the number five seed, defeated Lewis Burton in five sets to win the boys’ title, while Jocelyn Rae had to come from behind to win against her doubles partner Steph Cornish in three sets.
Both Marsalek and Rae are part of Team AEGON, an elite squad of top British players who are on track to reach the world’s top 100. They receive funding for coaching and travel as well as dedicated support from the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA’s) team of specialists
Anne Keothavong, the British number one and fellow member of Team AEGON, was on hand to present the trophies, after which Rae and Cornish were back in action in the girls’ doubles, which they also won.
